I've been thinking a lot about my original characters lately so I decided to dump them all into a journal before I forget. This is also for the reading pleasure of an interested few out there _{whoever you may be}. Note that I'm refraining from going into too much detail since practically all of them are still under development.


Naruto Characters:

There's this one thing that's been troubling me about Hitomi particularly. See, she's an Uchiha, and was meant to exist in the original timeline. It was already difficult trying to justify he existence when I made her, but considering the things that have been going on in the manga lately I think it'd be downright unreasonable. I won't go into specifics in case I have readers who aren't up to date with the manga, so if you want to ask about this then note me or something.

Anyway, there are two ways I can go about fixing this: take away her bloodline, or set her (and her team) in the next generation. It's kind of difficult for me to decide since I'm a really big fan of the sharingan and its capabilities, and I also really want my characters to co-exist with the canons in the original timeline. But alas I can't have both without Hitomi devolving into a sue, and god I don't want that.

With regards to Kouryuu and Hideki, I've yet to give them surnames. And clothes. I've already thought up a big chunk of their skills and histories, though these will remain under wraps until I finalize everything. It'll probably take a while, so you'll see it when you see it. xP


"Turn Me On" Characters:

It's been a long time since I uploaded something for this little project, and I won't deny the fact that I'm a lazy bum, but there's also another reason. The whole "sexy robot man" thing was a spur of the moment, and the initial thought for Yuuichi was actually a personified PS2. I thought it would be amusing (and sexay) if he asked me to "turn him on". 8D But thanks to a friend of mine, ~Count-Urbonov, we turned it into some sort of challenge. Now I have to draw 10 original characters following a certain theme, "elements".

But some time ago I got to thinking; maybe I could put these characters into good use, like maybe a story of some sort. I already have a concept in mind but the whole cyborg thing is... well, I can't think of a reasonable connection between cyborgs and elements. At least for now I don't. But for the sake of the project I'll still be following the cyborg format, can't say things won't change after that though. I already have ideas for most of the characters, just need to set them down on paper.


Ace Attorney Characters:

Aimee "Sean" Nishon, or "man man" as =kino18 would call her. >u>; She's a detective in Criminal Affairs specializing in ballistics. Out of all of my original characters so far, she's the most developed.

But I still need to look into how duties are assigned in the force since I meant for her to supervise crime scenes, kind of like the detectives in the game such as Gumshoe and Ema. Her specialty is firearms and I want to work that into her profession as well. So I guess her more official work title is tentative at the moment. I'd actually prefer to play through Ace Attorney Investigations (Gyakuten Kenji) first, which comes out in February 2010, before finalizing her title so I can get a glimpse of how Criminal Affairs operates in the game. Apart from that, I still need to hash out her timeline which will involve a bit of research about the military.


Dragon Ball Z Characters:

Oh snap, you didn't see this one coming did you? xDD Well, there's this story I was working on when I was younger, a romance fic of an original character and Trunks. Apparently, considering how young and foolish I was back then, it turned out to be a sue. But it was stories like those that got me into writing so I refused to dispose of the idea entirely.

So I decided to take it at as challenge, you know, fixing the sue and building up an interesting plot. The fic will comprise of more than one original character most likely; I already have a number of ideas written down though a lot of it still needs some fixing and tweaking. I'm still going to incorporate romance into it but it won't be the focus. This set of characters are at the very bottom of my priorities list however so I reckon it will take a very veeery long time before they're completed. Not that a lot of you would care for it since this is probably the first time you've heard of them. xD


And that concludes this update. Long journal is looong! But I'm glad to get all that out of my head.
